Main Garrucha access safer and more attractive
The Levante Almeriense Rural Development Group is financing the works on the municipality’s southern access road, the costs of which will be 90,000 euros
With an investment of 90,000 euros, Garrucha Town Hall has started works on improving the municipality’s southern access road; the works are being carried out by the company AJCC.
The action, which has the backing of the Levante Almeriense Rural Development Group (GDR), is aimed at improving both the appearance and the safety of the road. In fact the main aim is to eliminate the risk of landslides on the two existing slopes at the entrance to Garrucha from Turre.
The project also aims to achieve a substantial improvement to the image of the municipality at one of its main entrances, and includes, among other features, the creation of garden areas and new street lighting.
The works, which are being financed through the 2007-2013 Rural Development Agriculture European Fund, are scheduled for completion in three months.
